WI Tech Month
MKE Tech Hub Coalition has transitioned Milwaukee Tech Week to the Milky Way Tech Hub, as part of a broader effort to promote collaboration and support WI Tech Month. MKETech continues to host signature events during WI Tech Month including Meet the Meetups, Healthcare Innovation Pitch, and All Aboard the Talent Ship.
Meet the Meetups
Where: 88Nine Milwaukee
When: Tuesday, October 3rd, 6-9 pm.
What: Innovation and inspiration often come from connections with other technical talent. Socialize and explore new interests, exchange ideas, and make lasting connections.
Cost: This is a free event and open to the public.
Healthcare Innovation Pitch
Where: Wantable Cafe
When: Wednesday, October 4th. Networking is from 5-6 pm, with programming and pitches starting at 6 pm.
What: Network with other healthcare and entrepreneurs, and investors, then hear pitches to a panel of actual VC and angel investors, as 6-8 of the regions most promising new startups pitch for $20K in seed funds and related resources.
Cost: Free, thanks to our generous funders; but, you need to register in advance.
All Aboard the Talent Ship
Where: Online
When: Tuesday, October 17th from 12-1 pm
What: All Aboard the Talent Ship is a webinar focused on building a diverse tech talent pipeline through apprenticeship, internship, returnship, and entrepreneurship. Tune in for reflections from the private, nonprofit, and government sectors fueling the inclusive growth and retention of tech talent region-wide.
Cost: This is a free event and open to the public.
