Since the Great Recession, employment in Wisconsin has rebounded and then some. There are almost 72,000 more jobs in Wisconsin than its pre-recession peak, according to a new report from the Wisconsin Policy Forum. In Madison, employment has grown 16% since 2008 (54,000 jobs), while employment in Milwaukee grew 0.4% (3,100 jobs) in that time.
